WHO CARES FOLKS? is a creative research project exploring what people from Folkestone and surrounding areas need and how they feel about adult social care services.
We will use creative activities to play, make, imagine, and listen to people’s stories to help us understand social care issues that matter to our community.
Your ideas will help shape future social care research studies, and inform partner organisations and funders about what matters to you.
There will be free creative activities open to all, and in particular we would like to hear from people in Folkestone and surrounding areas who:
- Have experience with working in, receiving or potentially requiring adult social care services
- Have mental ill health
- Live with a learning disability
Who Cares Folks? is commissioned by The NIHR ‘Applied Research Collaboration, Kent Surrey and Sussex’ (ARC KSS) which aims to improve the health and care of patients and the public. ARC KSS is a partnership with Sussex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and the Universities of Kent, Surrey and Sussex, and funded by The National Institute for Health and Care Research (NIHR).
