The ongoing community support has been enormously important for Fourth Wall Folkestone. It has shown that you can put trust and faith in people, and if what you are doing feels important, you will be supported not only financially, but through word of mouth, testimonials, and the offering of time, expertise and skill which I am hugely grateful for.
I have also supported the Fourth Wall Folkestone financially with my own art practice outside of the space, and I am looking to develop a much more sustainable model going forwards.

DONATION OF MATERIALS
Materials:
We operate on a donations / pay-what-you-can policy which covers the running costs of the space. However, this does not yet stretch to the cost of materials. As Founding Director, I have been more than happy to donate spare materials from my own creative practice, however, these are depleting.
We would always welcome donations of the following:

+ HB Pencils
+ Scissors Pritt Sticks
+ Black fineliners
+ Acrylic Paint
+ Masking Tape
+ Dymo Tape
+ Instax mini film
This ensures we can continue to offer free and accessible activities to our local community.
SKILLS EXCHANGE
At Fourth Wall Folkestone, we believe in valuing skills but are not always in a position to offer financial rewards. We can, however, offer an exchange that would benefit you. This could be studio time in the space or access to one of our workshops, we’d be happy to discuss options.
We are currently looking for people with the following skills:
Marketing, Social media, Writing copy:
Are you a whiz at any of the above? I would love any help and advice that you may have the capacity for.
Good with a drill / paintbrush:
Currently I install and de-install exhibitions mostly alone. With your help, this could be done in a much more safe, time effective and fun way.
Business mentoring / coaching:
Could you provide support to help Fourth Wall Folkestone thrive? I am always keen to learn more!

Project Sponsorship:
Are you able to provide financial support to an upcoming exhibition or event? By contributing towards one of our projects you would enable us to continue our inclusive and diverse programming.
Bursaries:
We aim to offer free places to workshops to those on low or no income wherever possible. In order to help sustain this, we are looking for people who are able to cover the cost of these places. You will be helping us to keep the space accessible whilst also making a significant difference to the person you have supported.

There are some ways you can support us at no extra cost to yourself while shopping.
