What Cost Folks?
Photo Walk
Friday 17th & Monday 20th November
12-4pm

Head out on your own, or invite a friend to join you. Take a self-led photo walk to explore our research question for this phase of our research looking at ‘needs and barriers’ linked to the cost of living and mental health in Folkestone through your personal lens.

Bring a digital camera/ phone to Fourth Wall Folkestone between 12-2pm to collect further instructions. Then head out on your self-guided walk and return anytime before 3.30pm to show us what you captured.

If you don’t have a camera you could do a sketch walk instead and we can supply viewfinders and paper.

We ask that you share digital photo/s or sketches with us at the end of your walk to use in our research and to be included digitally on a screen in our exhibition in January.

If you take any photos or make sketches that you would like to exhibit for sale in our January exhibition we would be delighted to showcase them. We ask for a 20% commission for any works sold.

No previous photography or art experience is necessary and everyone 18+ is invited to have a go! If you can’t make these dates and would like to take part independently send us an email whatcostfolks@gmail.com and we’ll send you the instructions (which will be available in mid-November)
