Come join us for a paw-some event celebrating the creative minds of the 1920s!
Step back in time and celebrate the 1920s with our unique photography portrait project, where you and your furry friend can pay homage to the queer creatives of Kent and Sussex from the early 20th century.
At designated times, local photographer Clare Unsworth will be on hand to capture stunning portraits using costumes and props. These sessions are inspired by iconic images of queer artists, writers, and performers who shaped the cultural landscape of the era. To ensure everyone gets their moment in the spotlight, bookings are essential.
In preparation for your photo session, we invite you to attend our creative workshop at the Folkestone Bookshop two weeks prior. This workshop is designed to help you craft inspirational moodboards and collage images that reflect the spirit and style of the 1920s. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or new to the world of collage, this workshop offers a fantastic opportunity to immerse yourself in the aesthetics of the time and gain inspiration for your photoshoot.
Don’t miss this chance to celebrate queer history, express your unique style, and create lasting memories with your canine companion. Book your photo session and workshop spot today!
