Her painterly marks which have evolved through many thousands of hours creating are presented in these works as a script which plays on the way across different cultures and time we use marks to communicate .
In 2024 Laura worked on 15 large paintings for an Arab UK Bank in London. Within the commissioning process she made connections with staff and stake holders from North Africa and the Middle East who influenced this work to embrace a unique multi cultural script.
Mother Earth Love
Laura has worked on the beauty and fragility of Mother Earth and these works abstract the landscape using her painterly marks.
The paintings are inspired by views of the Sahara Desert the Great Barrier Reef and other inspiration from her sketchbook and travel diaries.
